1. Who we are
The Time Edit (“we”, “us”, “our”) publishes and sells digital workbooks, planners and, where indicated, printed books, created by Mariem Fernandez. These Terms and Refund Policy govern every purchase made on thetimeedit.co.
2. The products we sell
Most of our products are digital files (PDF) that you download and print or fill in yourself. Some titles may also be offered as printed books, currently sold and shipped through Amazon. The product page tells you which format you are buying.
3. Digital products: instant delivery and no refunds
Our digital files are delivered immediately after payment, as a download. Because you receive the complete file at once and digital content cannot be returned, all sales of digital products are final and non-refundable once the download has been made available to you.
When you complete your purchase, you expressly request immediate delivery of the digital content and you acknowledge that you therefore lose your 14-day right of withdrawal for that content (in line with the EU Consumer Rights Directive, art. 16(m), and equivalent rules). You confirm this by ticking the consent box at checkout.
This no-refund rule applies to change of mind, accidental purchase, lack of time to use the product, or the belief that you could find it elsewhere. It does not remove your mandatory legal rights where a product is faulty (see section 5).
4. Licence and permitted use
When you buy a digital product, you receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use it for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may print copies for your own use.
You may not: resell, sublicense, rent, share, forward, upload, post publicly, distribute, or make the file available to any third party; remove any notice, name or mark from the file; or use the content to create a competing product. Group, classroom, team or commercial use requires a separate written licence from us.
To protect our work, delivered files may be personalized and marked with the buyer’s name and email address and may be traceable. Sharing a file that carries your details may expose you to liability.
5. If there is a problem with your file
We want you to receive exactly what you paid for. If your file is faulty, corrupted, incomplete, or you received the wrong item, contact us within 14 days at thetimeedit@pm.me with your order number. We will fix the problem or, if we cannot, issue a refund for that item. This is the extent of our liability for digital products and preserves your statutory rights regarding non-conforming goods.
6. Printed books
Paperback editions are currently sold and shipped by Amazon; their delivery, returns and refunds are governed by Amazon’s own policies, not by us. If we later ship printed books directly, consumers in the EU will keep their legal 14-day right of withdrawal: the item must be returned unused and in resalable condition, return shipping is at the customer’s expense, and refunds are issued once we receive and inspect the item. Items damaged in transit will be replaced or refunded when reported with photos within 7 days of delivery.
7. Prices, currency and taxes
Prices are shown in US dollars (USD) and may be converted by your bank or payment provider. Prices may change at any time, but changes do not affect orders already placed. Where applicable, taxes are your responsibility and may be added at checkout in accordance with the law.
8. Payment, chargebacks and disputes
Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. We keep records of your order and of delivery. If you have any issue with an order, please contact us first at thetimeedit@pm.me so we can help. Filing a chargeback for a product that was delivered as described, in bad faith, is a breach of these terms; we reserve the right to contest such chargebacks with our delivery records and to refuse future service.
9. No guarantee of results
Our workbooks and planners are educational and self-help tools. They are not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. Results depend on your own effort and circumstances, and we do not guarantee any specific outcome. You use the content at your own discretion and responsibility.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any product or these terms is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your mandatory consumer rights.
11. Intellectual property
All content, text, designs, layouts, methods (including the A.V.A.N.C.E. method), names and files are the intellectual property of The Time Edit and Mariem Fernandez and are protected by copyright. No part may be reproduced, distributed or used commercially without our prior written permission.
12. Privacy
We process your data (such as name, email and order details) only to deliver your order, provide support and meet our legal obligations. See our Privacy Policy for details.
13. Governing law and your rights
These terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rights of the country in which you habitually reside, which continue to apply. Nothing here removes rights you have by law that cannot be waived.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on this page at the time of your order.
